The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, offering peaceful enjoyment of the park and historical surroundings. The rooms fell short of expectations, needing some maintenance and updates, but the service was excellent and accommodating. The dining experience was delicious but slightly overpriced, with breakfast unavailable during my stay. The onsite facilities were satisfactory, providing a decent stay overall.
The hotel rooms are pretty spacious for its age, though they do look a bit tired and seem to be decorated in a 1970s style. We encountered some cleanliness issues in our initial room but were promptly given a replacement, which was much better. The service was excellent overall, with friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable staff, although there were instances of quick but slightly rude behavior. The location, within the beautiful Saratoga Spa State Park, exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and reasonable prices, making it unnecessary to venture elsewhere. Overall, a decent stay with some minor drawbacks.
